Visual Designer, General Motors, Warren, Michigan (Remote Worker) June 2022 - January 2023

- Develop visual assets such as infographics, brochures, iconography, and more that effectively tell the electric vehicle story.

- Help coordinate content reviews and improve design processes cross-departmentally, and establish and maintain visual identity guidelines that are in line with GM's brands, voice, and tone.

- Support business objectives through applying visual design principles into engaging, intuitive experiences that map to needs of the customer.

Senior Graphic Designer, National Geographic Society, Washington, D.C., September 2018 - June 2022

Developed unique brand identities for traveling domestic and international exhibitions. Designed and assisted Creative Director in developing a cohesive style for exhibitions. Assisted in the development of large corporate initiatives in support of our Educational programming. Worked in collaboration with our in-house printer and external vendors to ensure high quality production of graphics and sourcing of materials. Oversaw creative direction from concept to execution throughout exhibition design development phases.


- “Becoming Jane: The Evolution of Dr. Jane Goodall” was awarded the overall annual Excellence in Exhibition award by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM).

- Assisted in the development of the “Queens of Egypt” exhibition.

- Created the overall layout, style guide and production files for the “50 Greatest Wildlife Photographs” and “50 Greatest Landscape Photographs” traveling exhibitions.

- Developed graphics for a 20’ wide object case for headquarters, highlighting the rich heritage of the National Geographic Society.

- Developed the entire mock PhotoArk exhibition for ABC’s “General Hospital”. The final package included an installation guide, print-ready images, graphic text panels, and image captions.

- Lead the creative direction for “Pristine Seas: Bringing the Ocean Back” traveling exhibition, debuting 2023 at the David Brower Center.

Associate Graphic Designer, Stanley Black & Decker, Towson, MD, April 2015 - September 2018

The Global Customer Experience team was seeking talent to leverage the wide array of Stanley Black & Decker brands and outpace our competitors in the market. I was challenged daily to bring forth innovative design solutions and to differentiate the DEWALT, BLACK+DECKER and Craftsman brands in our physical and eCommerce channels.

- Communicated daily with internal and external clients to determine best solutions for graphic requests; recommending material usage and providing guidance on production.

- Created compelling digital graphics for eCommerce channels such as Amazon, Home Depot and Lowe’s to highlight product features, showcase key benefits and improve the shopping experience for customers.

- Brought conceptual packaging solutions to the market utilizing user research and consumer data.

- Executed daily graphic requests using Adobe Creative Cloud software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other programs.

Student Graphic Designer, Towson University Creative Services Department, May 2014 - April 2015

As the Student Graphic Designer for the Creative Services department of Towson University, I was responsible for assisting in the creation of graphics to serve the campus community and alumnus. Additionally, the Creative Services department is responsible and manages the proper use of all Towson University logos and graphics.

- Helped create marketing materials for the campus-wide “Walk Safe” campaign.

- Created digital signage to promote upcoming campus events.

- Developed print collateral for brand new campus counseling center, outlining new programs offered for students.


Student Graphic Designer, Towson University Student Activities Department, September 2013 - May 2014

Created unique designs for various student organizations throughout the Towson University campus. Projects included poster design, brochure design, flyer design, and apparel design.

- Assisted in the development of the Student Activities official logo and brand guidelines.

- Worked alongside a large team of fellow student creatives to promote and advertise large-scale campus events such as Homecoming, TigerFEST and The BIG Event.


Co-Owner/Graphic Designer, Free State Clothing, September 2013 - May 2014

Created a Maryland pride-oriented apparel company out of a college dormitory. This provided my first glimpse at what it means to be an entrepreneur, and allowed me to learn new skills involving marketing, customer service, graphic design and order fulfillment. 

- Exceeded more than $35,000 in gross profits the first year from launching the business.

- Honored by the Entrepreneur Council of Frederick County with the Startup Award.
